Marijuana has been a popular plant for hundreds of years. In the past centuries, it used to be grown on fields, by farmers, and sold to specific customers who would pay a lot for a few hours of relaxation. Nowadays, it is an illegal drug, and even if it does not create dependence, it is very famous and appreciated. In spite of this, marijuana is only planted in hidden locations, and sold at high prices by drug dealers.

Cannabis seeds, or marijuana as they are also called, are not hard to find. But purchasing the sprouts or the seeds is the smallest of the problems that cultivating cannabis rises. The thing is that because this drug is illegal, growing and selling it is also against the law. This is why finding a secluded location where you can do your stuff in peace is hard, and stressful. If the police will not find out about you, the rivals may at any moment.

The place you should plant the seeds should be outdoors, to ensure the sunlight and the fresh air. But this is usually impossible, and so you can carefully manufacture some sort of a greenhouse in an indoor location. If you take for example your house, the rooms where you plan to plant the cannabis seeds and to grow them should be painted in white. Next, the floor should be covered in plastic foil, because after watering the plants, the liquid can ruin the parquet or anything you have there.

Next on you should purchase some big containers in which your plants will grow. Something like a large pot made of plastic or a bucket ought to do. Keep in mind that if you plan to use containers from other plants, you should carefully sterilize them before planting cannabis. Put some grovel in the bucket first and then add the flower soil. This will help with the drainage of the water, and it will keep your plants fresher.

The following issue on the list is the lighting. Since you don�t want nosy neighbors to see your indoor garden, you should cover the windows as well, and so the sunlight cannot possibly get in. this is why you can use fluorescent light sources, such as the neon, which are the cheapest and easiest to install. If you aim higher, you can buy high pressure sodium light, which also releases heat as well as light on the plant leaves.

Apart from tending to the lighting, you should pay close attention to the humidity of the air and soil, the temperature and the carbon dioxide and water levels. Cannabis seeds grow best at a humidity of 80%, because higher than that will increase the risk of developing mold, which attacks the seeds and stops the growing process. The average temperature should be around 75 F, and the water level should always be a bit higher than one of a normal flower. By following these steps, you are surely on the right path to successfully growing your own cannabis plant.
